From our TOWN Classics collection, the Salima Dress. A babydoll length dress designed with a yoke, exaggerated drop shoulders, bishop sleeves, a gathered body with inseam pockets, & a high neckline with a keyhole opening at the back neck. Made of 100% Belgian Linen in a deep black, the color of a rich onyx gemstone.

Inspired by our friend and muse Salima Boufelfel of Desert Vintage, we have been producing this dress in different lengths and fabrics since it first launched to our wholesale accounts in August 2017. We are happy to bring it back to our customers as this style is timeless and we feel it’s necessary to always have it available for purchase.

We love wearing ours paired with denim jeans, cropped wide leg pants, bike shorts, baggy shorts, or just as a dress with nothing on under except our favorite pair of Pansy undies. Search Instagram with hashtag #salimababydolldress to see how others wear this dress.

Whether you are 6’1” or much shorter in stature this dress works wonderful on all shapes and sizes. Please email us if you have questions about fit and be sure to refer to the measurements listed below.

While we love the length of this dress, we are also offering the option to our customers to purchase it in a custom length that cannot exceed 5 inches. If you would like to purchase a longer or shorter version of this dress please fill out the form at checkout with your desired finished length (cannot exceed 5 inches). Please tack on an additional two weeks for your order to ship out if you ask for a custom length.

*a note about price increase*

we are sorry to say that we finally had to raise prices on this style. Since 2018 our linen suppliers have had to increase the price per yard of our linen piece goods. We have shielded our customers from these price increases but now the linen is costing twice as much as it did in 2018 (due to many factors), and so we are no longer able to shoulder all of these increases and have raised our prices as low as possible without putting ourselves out of business. We have continued to use this specific linen because the quality is beyond compare and the company has been certified carbon neutral since 2014.
